Export is the driving force behind growth in the ICT sector, with Portugal, France and Germany leading the field. Júlia Farré will be giving you some keys to unlock the doors to finding a partner, distributor or agent in France and Germany. The talk will take place at the HQ of Secartys, http://www.secartys.org/ the leading ICT association on Wednesday, 6th February from 09:30 to 12:00.
The seminary is open to both members and non-members and will be of especial interest to companies offering: technological services; information technology; digital content; telecoms; professional electronics, consumer electronics and others such as: solar energy; domotics; optics and photonics.
There is no doubt that there are great opportunities to be found in France and Germany just as there are in the UK and Italy. However, apart from the “Big Four”, other European markets (Sweden, Belgium, Russia, Denmark, Austria and Poland) have grown considerably between 2007 and 2011. Any of these markets would be ideal for either establishing a first beachhead or consolidating existing business.
Although 70% of Spanish exports go to Europe, there are other markets which are well worth considering, in particular those of Peru and the USA. Both these markets along with Northern Africa offer great possibilities due to the organic growth of infrastructure and communications networks there.
Whilst there is no question about the importance of exporting to Europe nor about the wealth of opportunities for Spanish exporters, but the truth of the matter is that many companies encounter almost insurmountable difficulties when trying to find the ideal partner with whom to establish a long-term relationship. Júlia Farré will be explaining some practical tools which will help you to find future agents or distributors in these two important markets. She will also be giving outline guidance on how to make a success of these the relationship with these partners.
