68 firms packed the conference room at the Sabadell Chamber of Commerce on 4th February to learn how to select a good overseas agent or distributor.

Attendees were welcomed by Mr Ramón Alberich who, as President of the Overseas Trade Expansion Committee of the Sabadell Chamber of Commerce and Industry, also introduced the session.

Then Ms Júlia Farré, consultant to the Chamber and partner in International Team Consulting, went on to explain the differences between an agent and a distributor, the approaches to their selection in both cases, how to evaluate the candidates and the steps to minimise the risks of disappointment.
