International Team Consulting (Galicia) successfully sets up an export department for a Galician Producer of tinned foods.

Within the framework of RE-Acciona, International Team Consulting (Galicia) has successfully completed a commercial consultancy service when concluding the task of setting up an internal Export Department in a Galician producer of tinned foodstuffs. 

The project was carried out over six months and included the design of an IPP (International Promotion Plan) for the company primarily aimed at developing a sales strategy for the firm. The plan included the analysis of which products to export, countries to target in the initial stages (including quantative and qualative considerations), the channels most suited to the distribution and what advertising and promotion would be needed.

The company now has an established export department that administers, supervises, analyses, manages and determines, together with management, all overseas trade strategies.

Results to date include opening new markets in Australia, Germany, Sweden and Finland together with the consolidation of, and acquisition of new clients in, other countries such as Portugal, France, Switzerland and Italy. In addition, negotiations to close deals are very advanced in USA, Japan, Brazil, Panama and UAE.
